KUHF’s Elaine Kennedy joins guitarist Paul Galbraith in KUHF’s Geary Performance Studio for a conversation and performance session.  Galbraith will open Guitar Houston’s 2009-2010 recital series with a live performance at Emerson Unitarian-Universalist Church on Bering Drive. Listen Download

KUHF’s Chris Johnson hosts a session from the Geary Performance Studio with Artistic Director Viswa Subbaraman and the instrumental ensemble from Opera Vista‘s production of A Fiddler’s Tale, a work for narrator and orchestra by jazz great, Wynton Marsalis, inspired by Igor Stravinsky’s A Soldier’s Tale.  Ron L. Bunch was the narrator, and Houston artist Shelley Shanks’s projected paintings will serve as the visual backdrop for Opera Vista’s production of A Fiddler’s Tale, to be presented tomorrow evening at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston’s Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens.
