Joe Barnes‘s The Workshop, a short play all three of whose characters are themselves playwrights, is one of ten ten-minute mini-dramas by Houston area authors to be featured on this year’s Ten By Ten new plays showcase, presented by ScriptWriters/Houston. Stuart Purdy is the stage-director for two more of the productions, Upstairs Dirty Bomb by Eric James, and Cuteness, by Leighza Walker. There are three performances of Ten By Ten 2009: this Friday and Saturday night at 8:00PM … and Sunday afternoon at 5:00PM … at Country Playhouse.
