That’s the question at the heart of George Frideric Handel's very first oratorio, Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno — The Triumph of Time and Disillusionment, which Ars Lyrica Houston presents Sunday afternoon at the Hobby Center. Pianist Jessica Zhu and friends gather in the KUHF Performance Studio for a preview of some of the music that is featured on this weekend’s Concert for a Cure, Music to Benefit Breast Cancer Research. It’s a program of chamber-music by Bach, Franck and Brahms happening tomorrow afternoon at 5:00PM at Christ United Methodist Church on Austin Parkway in Sugar Land. KUHF’s Chris Johnson hosts the session in the Geary Performance Studio.
