This evening at 8:00PM, Houston’s Rothko Chapel, in collaboration with the Foundation for Modern Music, presents its 2009 Music for Peace Concert, A Sweeter Music. Pianist Sarah Cahill plays new keyboard works on the theme of peace, which she commissioned from six American composers. Her performance will be preceded at Six by a lecture, “Ending Racism and Hate,” given by Rigoberta Menchú, 1992 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate from Guatemala. Cahill talks with KUHF’s Catherine Lu.
