In our conversation with Suchu Dance Artistic Director Jennifer Wood, you’ll hear such disparate terms as “cool,” “other-worldly,” “beautiful,” “tense,” “floppy,” and “chaotic degeneration,” as Ms. Wood describes her latest choreographic effort, Impluvium. The work will be performed in Houston for the first time, beginning tomorrow night at the Barnevelder Movement/Arts Complex. Also, we talk with the two conductors who will lead the Houston Symphony in its Jones Hall Concerts this weekend: the orchestra’s Music Director Hans Graf, and Assistant Conductor, Brett Mitchell.
