Harpist Julio Martinez of Mariachi Vargas, the world’s longest running mariachi band, performs live for us. He’s joined Bob Stevenson along with representatives from the two organizations that are co-sponsoring the band’s Saturday concert at the Wortham Center: Cynthia Munoz, President of Munoz Public Relations in San Antonio, and Alice Valdez, Executive Director of the Houston community center called MECA—Multi Cultural Education and Counseling through the Arts.
