Adam Holzman, from the University of Texas at Austin, and Bryan Johanson, from Portland State University in Oregon, two of this year’s faculty-artists at the TMF’s Classical Minds Guitar Institute give us a preview of their weekend recital.  Holzman, Johanson, and TMF organizer and director Valerie Hartzell speak with KUHF’s Elaine Kennedy and Houston guitarist Mark Garvin and perform live for us in Studio 3-C.     Listen.  Download.

Faculty artists Kyung Sun Lee and Edward Arron, the violin and cello soloists, respectively and Director of the Texas Music Festival join St. John Flynn in studio 3-C and tell us about their final performance by the TMF Orchestra.  Additionally, Lee and Arron, who will be guest conducted by the distinguished Polish Maestro, Marek Pijarowski at the Festival, will treat us to a live performance of a movement from the Duo for Violin and Cello by Zoltan Kodaly.   Listen.  Download.
