It was Brazilian pianist Vania Pimentel who performed on the KUHF Steinway this afternoon. . .

Ms. Pimentel performs on the Village Concerts series at Christ the King Lutheran Church tonight at 7:30. Her program includes music by Bach, Mozart, Granados and several Brazilian composers. Amy Hopper and Brian Byrnes stopped by the studios to talk about Houston’s newest theater company. The Nova Arts Project currently presents Stella. . .Stella for Star, surrealistic meditation on what happened to the main characters of Tennessee Williams’ drama, A Streetcar Named Desire. Performances are this Thursday, Friday and Saturday night at 8:00 at Houston Production Studios, 1600 W. 13th St. Audio here.
