You Don't Get a Second Chance to Make a First Impression

Becky Roberts, president of Chevron Pipeline was pleased to announce their involvement for the third consecutive year.

"We have presented Dress for Success with a check for $25,000 to continue this sponsorship. Chevron along with 70 other companies in the Houston area will havea suit drive next week to collect suits from anybody that's willing to donate a gently worn suit to be able to help another woman in the Houston area join the work force and get back on her feet."

Chandra Brooks with DSF says women who've benefitted have gone on to be educators medical professionals and even experts in the financial industry.

"First impression is the lasting impression and when you look the part it's that confidencethat shows on your face."

DSF founder Nancy LeVicki says it is their goal to collect 5,000 suits.

"The outpouring of support in the Houston community has been tremendous and we've actually expanded our mission and that helping these women not only land a job but build a career through the professional women's group."
