Franghiz Ali-Zadeh is an Azerbaijani composer, conductor and pianist who is known for her collaboration with Yo-Yo Ma's Silk Road Project and for her work with the Kronos Quartet. Musicians from Mercury Baroque perform excerpts from Purcell's Dido and Aeneas. The early music ensemble will collaborate with Dominic Walsh Dance Theatre for one-performance-only this Saturday evening in the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.
