North Region Superintendent Cynthia Wilson says Key students who have been attending classes at Fleming Middle School will return to Key on Wednesday March 26th. Wilson says this week air quality tests will continue.
"We also have tours that are set for community members, parents, students who want to come through and see the changes in how the building looks now. Those will begin on the 13th and run through the week-end."
Work done at Key included extensive cleaning, painting and heating and air conditioning work. Wilson says the land around the building was graded to alleviate concerns about "damp building syndrome".
"And we've done that so the drainage from rain is better controlled by the features of the land surrounding the building."
She says while the Key community was patient and the Fleming community was generous, everyone will be glad to get back to normal.
