Dr. Lienhard's selection, director Henry Koster's No Highway in the Sky (UK, 1951), stars James Stewart as Mr. Honey, an aeronautical engineer. It is Mr. Honey's task to travel from England to the site of a plane crash in Labrador, where he hopes to discover what went wrong with the brand new passenger plane. While aboard his own flight, however, Mr. Honey becomes convinced that the plane will crash. He causes a great ruckus attempting to warn people, but everything seems to be going smoothly. Left appearing foolish, Mr. Honey's professional reputation just might depend on disaster striking twice. Marlene Dietrich co-stars.ξ This screening in the MFAH's Movies Houstonians Love series is on Monday, November 26 at 7 p.m.
