We feature two performances from the KUHF Studios to start this week off on The Front Row. Icelandic vioinist Gudny Gudmunsdottir currently in-residence at the Texas Music Festival. She's joine by pianist Jeffery Cohen for a performance of Ravel's infamous Tzigane. We also have singers from the new Lone Star Lyric Theater Festival to preview more of their first season of performances . . .

Violinist Gudny Gudmonsdottir isξthe concertmistress of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. She is currentlyξin Houston for a week's worth of performances and masterclasses at the Texas Music Festival and stops into the KUHF Performance Studio for a performance of some favorite music for violin by Maurice Ravel. Houston-based flutist Christina Jennings is the curator of the program which is called Bohemian Rhapsody.ξξListenξ Downloadξ
