Sandra Massie-Hines helps the elderly in the Sunnyside neighborhood. She says there'll be a lot of interest in the offer to repair low-income homes for energy efficiency.

"They're looking to repair more than 900 homes for senior citizens, but they are probably going to have in excess of maybe 5,000 - 10,000 senior citizens that are going to fill out those applications because the needs are so great."

Five multi-service centers will be participating in the program. More information can be found on-line at kuhf-dot-org.
