We're joined by the all-female string trio known as Austin's Angels as their join pianist Jade Simmons in the Performance Studio for a preview of the opening concert of the Impulse Artist Series festival of chamber music performed by emerging young Texas-based female classical musicians; and we hear arias sung by mezzo-soprano Jamie Barton, the third prize winner in the HGO Eleanor MCCollum Competition for young singers. . .
