Acclaimed mezzo-soprano Frederica von Stade looked back on here 35 year career and ahead to a recital she'll give this evening. . .

The Tuesday Musical Club and Rice University collaborate to present Frederica von Stade in recital with pianist Richard Bado tonight at 8:00 in Rice's Stude Concert Hall. The thematically grouped songsξrepresent composers including Schubert, Faure, Britten, Strauss, and a number of Americans. Tickets will be available at the door. Tomorrow night at the Shepherd School of Muisc a group of student musicians organized by Conductor/Harpsichordist Levi Hammer will present allξ six of Bach's Brandenburg Concerto's. ξIt's a free concert tomorrow at 8:00 in the Duncan recital Hall.
