Donna Stoering, an American-born pianist who makes her home in England where she also runs a foundation that puts on public concerts, produces music programming for television, and is in the process of establishing its own cable-T-V network tocelebrate music that doesn't get much attention from existing media. She will tell the story behind Sergei Rachmaninoff's rarely played First Piano Sonata and then perform the entire piece on the Houston Public Radio Steinway grand.
