The Houston-based ensemble Trio Solari, along with guest cellist Barrett Sills, perform excerpts from the unusual recital that they’re presenting as part of its “Village Concerts” series. The program pairs a concert work by film-composer John Williams with Olivier Messiaen’s bone-chilling Quartet for the End of Time, written while the French composer was being held in a German prisoner-of-war camp during WWII.
