Surveillance video from the 1/12/12 incident at 10790 w. FM 1960, released by Crime Stoppers
"There's a lot of weapons out there. In Harris County we don't like stolen weapons on the street."
Authorities are now trying to track down close to three hundred weapons that were stolen over the past six weeks. The guns were taken during burglaries at six Houston area gun stores and pawn shops, also dealers in Bryan and West Columbia. Lt. Jeff Stauber with the Harris County Sheriff's Department says it appears the burglaries are the work of a highly-organized ring.
"We do have three suspects in custody, however there is more at large. We believe at least four more suspects are at large."

And as for what happened to the guns, Stauber says they're still trying to figure that out.
"We've had one weapon out of 274 weapons stolen recovered, and it was recovered out of state. So, we just don't know."
Crime Stoppers is now offering a $5000 reward for information that leads to arrests in the case. Executive Director Katherine Cabaniss is asking the public to take a close look at security video from one of the businesses that was hit.
"We know that in pictures and photographs, people can recognize people that they know. We know that someone out there knows who committed this crime. We know that these offenders may have talked."
