The Iron Lady...Tune in this weekend as we explore the music of Thomas Newman. Newman is one of those composers with a very distinct color of composition. Although it penetrates nearly every score he writes, he is able to compose completely different sounding scores. This weekend's score will feature music from The Iron Lady. Thomas Newman has continued his tread, which follows the likes of Jerry Goldsmith, by interjecting moments of synthesized chaos amidst a lush and organic orchestra. This is a score not to be missed. Tune this Saturday at 8pm with an encore presentation Sunday at 5pm on Classical917.
