The contemporary chamber-music society, Musiqa -- in collaboration with Inprint -- opens its season with Critical Moments ... an evening of modern literature, film and music led by Houston Symphony Assistant Conductor Brett Mitchell ... and featuring excerpts from a new work of fiction by novelist Mat Johnson, a faculty member of the University of Houston's Creative Writing Program.
