Composer Michael Remson is the Executive and Artistic Director of the American Festival for the Arts Summer Music Conservatory; Shelly Power is Associate Director of Houston Ballet's Ben Stevenson Academy, and oversees its annual Summer Intensive Program for young dancers and choreographers, ages nine to twenty.ξMister Remson and Ms. Power are directly involved with the annual World Premi’åres Concert, which features new dance pieces, choreographed and performed by the young artists who have attended the Ballet Academy's Summer Intensive Program, and accompanying original scores created by the high-school-aged participants from the AFA's Composers' Workshop.ξListen Download
