Pascal Verrot is the Music Director of France's Orchestra of Picardy and will guest conduct the 2009 incarnation of the Texas Festival Orchestra in its inaugural concert ... an all-French program featuring Albert Roussel's ballet music, Bacchus et Ariane, and Henri Dutilleux's Cello Concerto, with Emilio Col’_n as the soloist. The Galveston Historical Foundation presents Heroic Gratitude, the last program in its inaugural season of Restoration Chamber Music recitals.
