Mobile Benefit Clinic For Vets Comes To Houston

For local vets, the non-profit Disabled American Veterans or D.A.V will be giving free disability benefit assistance through its mobile service office next week.

The Galveston-Texas Chapter of the DAV starts its road trip in Texas City tomorrow and finishes in Rosenberg Friday.  The DAV aims to give veterans and their families more convenient access to their services.

These include assisting veterans with development of evidence, prosecution of claims for veterans’ benefits administered under federal, state and local laws and the completion of required applications.
