WATCH: Are There Enough Construction Workers To Rebuild After Harvey?

More people are leaving the construction field than entering it, according to an industry expert.

 

Houston is beginning to rebuild after Hurricane Harvey.

But the city may be short on skilled, hands-on workers to repair the damage caused to residential areas, according to Chuck Gremillion of the Construction Career Collaborative. He says the industry has an unsustainable workforce, because more people are leaving the field than entering it.
