Examining The Emotional Aftermath Of Harvey

Greater Houston is feeling the effects of Harvey — not just physically, but emotionally. What kind of treatment should those affected by the floods look into?

We’ve all been amped up, on edge for a week — even if you don’t have any flooding in your home, and even if you’re able to get to and from work.

Even if you feel like you’ve escaped Harvey’s wrath largely unscathed, all of Greater Houston is feeling the effects of Harvey — not just physically, but emotionally. The strain is really being felt by those who have been flooded out and by first responders, emergency workers, law enforcement, fire, and other officials and volunteers working around the clock to provide rescue and relief.
