AAA Tracks Lower Gasoline Prices Again This Week

Retail gasoline prices in Texas have slipped another penny this week.

Anne O’Ryan is with AAA Texas.


“The statewide average for Texas is $3.56 — 28 cents lower than last month. The experts are telling us now that the crude oil prices fell this morning after there were published reports that the Saudis would act outside of OPEC and independently increase production by as much as ten million barrels a day.”

The national average is also down five cents, settling at $3:68 a gallon.

The least expensive gasoline in Texas is in Beaumont, averaging $3.51 a gallon. Amarillo, Corpus Christi, Dallas and Fort Worth tie for the most expensive average at $3.58 a gallon.
