Artist Michael Petry talks with Houston Public Media’s Troy Schulze about AT the Core of the Algorithm, Petry’s installation inspired by the life of British mathematician Alan Turing (credited with breaking the Nazis’ Enigma Code during World War II), the light spectrum, and the idea of the multiverse. The work will be on view through May 30 at Hiram Butler Gallery.

(The AT is capitalized to emphasize the initials of Alan Turing.)
