The Front Row – Texas Music Festival

Faculty artists from the 2010 Immanuel & Helen Olshan Texas Music Festival perform music from their concert, “Voices from the Twilight of Old Vienna,” curated by musicologist and violinist Sean Wang [pictured].

Voices from the Twilight of Old Vienna explores the cultural city through the music of Brahms, Strauss and Rabl.  Concert curator Sean Wang chats with host St.John Flynn, and his colleagues perform excerpts from Walter Rabl’s Quartet for Clarinet, Violin, Cello & Piano.  The musicians in the studio are Andrzej Grabiec (violin), Randall Griffin (clarinet), Barrett Sills (cello) and Nancy Weems (piano).
