Bass-baritone Timothy Jones and pianist Brian Connelly speak with KUHF’s Chris Johnson about  Franz Schubert’s song cycle, Die Schöne Müllerin — The Beautiful Miller-Maid. Jones and Connelly will perform the complete cycle this Sunday afternoon at 4:00PM in Duncan Recital Hall at the Shepherd School of Music. Listen Download  Extended Interview

Joe Angel Babb is the recently-appointed Artistic Director of Houston’s GLBT theater company, Unhinged Productions, and the director of its staged reading of Oscar Wilde’s one-act drama, Salomé.  Actress Karina Pal Montaño-Bowers takes the part of the play’s title character, when the reading is presented, Sunday afternoon at 2:30PM  at the Jung Center of Houston. The performance will be followed by a discussion of the play’s themes, lead by psychotherapist, Sean Fitzpatrick. Admission is free.
