Max McLean is the President and Artistic Director of the Fellowship for the Performing Arts, a New-York-City-based Christian theatrical production company, and the co-author, with Associate Producer and director, Jeffrey Fiske, of the stage adaptation of C. S. Lewis’s mockingly cautionary novel, The Screwtape Letters. McLean stars as the titular demon in his company’s production of the piece, which will be presented six times, in evening performances, tomorrow night through Sunday, and on Saturday and Sunday afternoon in Zilkha Hall. Opera in the Heights presents Giuseppe Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera — A Masked Ball, opening tomorrow night with additional performances Friday and Saturday evening and next Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.  All performances begin at 7:30PM at Lambert Hall. KUHF’s St. John Flynn joins singers from teh cast in teh Geary Performance Studio for a preview session. Listen Download

Playwright and actress Jessica Dickey performs her one-player, seven-character drama, The Amish Project, tomorrow evening at 7:30PM, Friday and Saturday night at 8:00PM and Sunday afternoon at 4:00PM at the Unity Theatre in downtown, Brenham, Texas. Dickey talks with KUHF’s Bob Stevenson.
