Sunday afternoon at 3:00PM, the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music honors its director, composer David Ashley White, on the occasion of his 65th birthday, with a concert of his own music. Betsy Cook Weber conducts the Moores School’s Concert Chorale in a dozen of Doctor White’s short choral pieces, and Moores School faculty artists perform some of his chamber works for piano, strings and solo voice on the program I Saw Eternity: The Music of David Ashley White. St. John Flynn spoke with White and Weber about the celebration in music. Listen Download
