KUHF and Texas Music Festival Present a Panel Discussion on Entrepreneurship and Classical Musicians

The discussion takes place at the University of Houston's Moores School of Music (Choral Recital Hall, Rm. #160) at 3:30pm on Thursday, June 19th. Admission is free and the public is invited.

Presented in collaboration with the Immanuel and Helen Olshan Texas Music Festival and the Mitchell Center for the Arts, KUHF’s Chris Johnson hosts Artists in Action: Entrepreneurship in Music – a conversation with young musicians of the Immanuel and Helen Olshan Texas Music Festival as they explore what’s possible for their lives and careers as professional musicians. Hear from Houston-based musicians who are taking non-traditional paths towards careers in the classical music industry and whose entrepreneurial skills have enabled them to succeed in their chosen art field.
