We begin a new chapter on the program today as we welcome St. John Flynn. He comes to Houston from Georgia Public Broadcasting and will be hosting and taking over the duties of Director of Cultural Programming. We also hear from the Houston Ballet, the Houston Symphony, Theatre Under The Stars, and Suchu Dance . . .

St. John Flynn chats with KUHF’s Development Director Victor Kendall.  Victor is also the flutist and the guiding force behind the Houston Public Radio Chamber Ensemble. That ensemble will present a recital tonight at 7:00 at the Menil Collection.   Listen  Download

Aurelie Demarais is the Senior Director of Artistic Planning for the Houston Symphony. She talks with St. John Flynn about the upcoming day-long festival The Beethoven Experience. Jennifer Wood is the Artistic Director of Houston’s Suchu Dance.  Her new evening-length piece, called 8:10 Assemblywill debut at the Barnevelder Movement /Arts Complex, March 7 – 8 & 14 – 16.  A preview show will be offered this Thursday, preceded by a special Opening Night buffet dinner.  Ms. Wood talks with KUHF’s Catherine Lu.  Listen  Download
