It’s an all music-oriented program today, as we preview two upcoming concerts. The Mir? Quartet will make its Houston Friends of Music debut tomorrow evening, with a concert of Beethoven, Ives and Dvorak . . .and the city’s newest vocal ensemble, VOX – The Rob Seible Singers, will offer an eclectic program tonight, including a premiere by Houston composer Robert Nelson!

KUHF’s Chris Johnson talks with cellist Joshua Gindele of the Austin-based Mir? Quartet.  We also enjoy an excerpt of a past Houston performance by the Mir? of Beethoven’s String Quartet Op. 18, No. 3.  Houston Friends of Music presents the Mir?
